Our electric systems are designed by sailors, for sailors. Our systems are compatible with standard shaft configuration vessels and are aimed to make your adventures smarter, quieter and cleaner. We have a saildrive compatible kit as well for mono hulls and catamarans which uses the Yanmar saildrive gear in either SD60 or SD25 form factor.
THE G17 Motor System
A clean, capable system for displacement boats up to roughly 40 feet, replacing diesels to 45 horsepower. Well suited for coastal passages and extended offshore sailing where simplicity and reliability matter most.

THE G22 Motor System
Our primary bluewater system, replacing diesels up to 60 horsepower. If your plans include offshore passages or an ocean crossing, this is the motor we would put on our own boat.

Before anything gets built, we talk through your boat and your plans. Fill out the application, we will review it and schedule a call. If the fit is right, we get to work. If it is not, we will tell you honestly.
THE REGEN FUNCTION
All of our motors come with an adjustable regen function which allows you to choose how much resistance the prop is dragging (correlating to Amp input to the battery bank).
We tested 6 knot boat speed with the Eco*Star prop provides 250W of power. That increases drastically beyond the 6 knot speed. Over a 23 day passage the reported regen average was 7kWh a day.
THE SIMPLICITY
Our system is simple yet elegant. The display can replace the diesel instrument panel to provide all of the running information you need in one display.

THE BEAUTY OF THE BASICS
The updated G17 and G22 models use a helical gearbox for quieter operation than the previous belt drive model we offered. This allows an incredible 20,000 hour gear oil service.
All of our components are made of high quality marine grade materials. The motor has an IP68 rating and all wiring used is sealed for 100% corrosion resistance.
