Our series hybrid setups allow a small DC diesel generator to efficiently charge the battery bank, letting you extend your range without relying on a large diesel engine. Our parallel hybrid systems give the flexibility of combining electric motor power and diesel mechanical drive when needed — the best of both worlds. The combinations are expansive. We have series hybrid systems shipped and being installed by their owners now, including a catamaran with dual SD15s and a Charge 15 DC generator, and PowerCats with dual G22 and dual Charge 20 DC generators. Our parallel P22, for heavier expedition vessels that need the grunt of a diesel for long stretches, is fully designed and ready for its first build.
