Our series hybrid setups allow a small DC diesel generator to efficiently charge the battery bank, letting you extend your range without relying on a large diesel engine. Our parallel hybrid systems give the flexibility of combining electric motor power and diesel mechanical drive when needed — the best of both worlds. The configurations combinations are expansive. We have orders out for a catamaran Dual SD15 with Charge 15 DC generator, PowerCats with dual G22 and dual Charge 20 DC gensets and parallel P22 systems for heavier expedition vessels who need the grunt of a diesel for extended periods of time.
